on the ceiling if you want me. Twice on the pipe, if the answer is no.
While Jubilee may not exactly be acting out this famous song by Tony Orlando and Dawn, she is gaining a knack for knocking. Not very loud, but she gets the idea that you first form a fist and then you rap on the door in hopes that someone will open it. In the past, her idea of getting a door to open was shouting at the top of her lungs and slapping the door with the palm of her hand.
I don’t even know how Jubilee got it, but today I noticed a bruise on knee. *sigh* There will be many more to come.
Jubilee now nods her head. it’s fun to ask her questions (whether ridiculous or profound) and receive a yes.
We got a Spanish/English Speaking Elmo from Uncle Scot. Thank you!
Which reminds me: what is Jubilee’s first word? Is it “egg(y)” or “amen or “Elmo”? “Amen” is the first I heard, “egg(y)” is the first to be repeated, but “Elmo” is by far the most consistent.
Jubilee is now facing forward in the car! Auntie Cyrena has a scale that has a half mark. David put Jubilee on the scale and it passed 19.5 pounds, so he knew she was good to go.
You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But you can’t pick your friends’ nose. Jubilee dug out her first booger this week. Fortunately, she didn’t think much of it and didn’t succeed again.

Tia Samm and Tio Gary gave me this beautiful embroidered dress from Mexico. I wore it for Cinco de Mayo. Almost couldn’t though, because my head barely fit through the hole. Ol?ɬ©!

Mommy and Ba-Ba took lots of pictures of me as I danced around in my new dress. As you can see, I dance really fast.. too fast for Ba-Ba to get a clear picture of me!
When I left work tonight, Daphne told me she was taking Jubilee outside to play. I always enjoy arriving home when Jubilee is playing outside because she gets excited when she sees me. But tonight was the best! She clearly waved at me as I drove up to the house and into the driveway. It was so natural that I didn’t even think about it at first, but Daphne was getting visibly excited and pointing at Jubilee,.. then I realized this was a first! Yay!
More frequently, Jubilee is waving good-bye to people (not just poop).
The steep driveway is certainly Mt. Everest to a beginning walker. But in less than a week, Jubilee is already quite accomplished. She can now stop to regain balance. Of course, she still falls, but who wouldn’t when you’re running downhill?
