We’ve finally updated Jubilee’s online photo album with some new photos.

David was feeding some bananas to Jubilee. I was in another room and as I walk toward them, I wave at Jubilee. And then…she waves back!
We were at some house, meeting together to go out with a bunch of people. At some point, Jubilee walks up to me. Slowly, she says, “Water.” This is Jubilee’s first word!
With great joy, I reply, “You said your first word! That’s wonderful! Now can you say, ‘Please, may I have some water?” Why did I do this, who knows? But it didn’t matter because Jubilee actually did it! The words were a little difficult to understand but, wow, who could ask for more?
So I get up to go get her a cup of water, but I get distracted and quickly forget about it. Later on, I notice Jubilee looking at me with patient expectation. I’d forgotten to fulfill my daughter’s request!
I rush over to Jubilee, stoop down so we are face to face and say, “I’m sorry Jubilee; I forgot to get you some water. Will you forgive me?”
Jubilee, without any hesitation, looks at me and says, “You’re forgiven.”
David and I look at each other. I see David’s eyes moistening. I myself am ready to cry. Our daughter knows and understands: the importance of, the power of, and the freedom in forgiveness. This is a key part in our life prayer for Jubilee.
Do I have to wake up from this dream?
